Anyone else as addicted to Pinterest as I am?!?!
I have begun a brand new service for potential clients who book a photo session: their own Pinterest inspiration board :-) Together, we can pin images to the board to work towards what we would like the end product of the pictures to look like
Also, on my Pinterest page, I have many boards with specific categories of ideas and a full board dedicated to images that I have personally uploaded to Pinterest that were taken by TabbiAnn Photography
You don't have to be a member of Pinterest to log on and see any and all of my photography boards (plus MANY more!). Follow the provided link to CHECK IT OUT :-) Hope you enjoy it!

How do you see summer?
A challenge has been extended from Oh Snap! magazine to submit photos for how you view summer and all its glory. Couldn't decide which one I liked best so these are the three I submitted. (all three of my pictures were taken last year at Wildwood, NJ where we took our youth group away to a beach retreat)
Now is it up to wishin' and hopin' and prayin' and dreamin' (hehe)

went out onto the beach with one of the adult leaders super early one morning to be able to watch the sun rise from on top of a life guard chair. Definitely a bucket list moment :-) |
took a ride on a pirate ship whose track took us right next to the GIANT Ferris Wheel positioned directly on Morey's Pier Wildwood, NJ |

Little Miss A
I got the chance to photograph Little Miss A and her family this past fall at Calendonia State Park and was excited that I was able to celebrate her 1st birthday with her also :-)
**which officially isn't until March, but whose counting! hehe**
In addition to regular portraits, I suggested to Mom that we try a little 1st birthday tradition and have Little Miss A "smash some cake". I called our family friend who just opened up a cake business (Sweets & Treats by Bekah in Chambersburg) and we were set to go!

I am so very pleased to announce that last weekend while everyone was busy voting for their "Sealed by a Kiss" favorites, our TabbiAnn Photography facebook page reached its goal of 100 "likes"
Reaching 100 likes on my facebook page was one of my Goals of 2013 that I listed just last month and I am so thrilled that this particular goal happened so quickly
Keep on spreading the word to family & friends :-)

My newest photo session: Classic Boudoir
Boudoir photography is not generally a new concept....
Typically shot in a photographer's studio or luxury hotel suites, it has become fashionable to create a set of sensual or sexually suggestive images of women (and occasionally men and couples) in "boudoir style". The most common manifestation of contemporary boudoir photography is to take variations of candid and posed photographs of the subject partly clothed or in lingerie. Nudity is more often implied than explicit. Commercially the genre is often (though not exclusively) derived from a market for brides to surprise their future husbands by gifting the images on or before their wedding day. Other motivations or inspiration for boudoir photography shoots include anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine's Day,

In today's society it is so beautiful to see women feeling sexy and glamorous about themselves no matter what size or body type they happen to be. A photography session specifically designed to celebrate curves and beauty is a powerful tool to make woman feel sensual and beautiful, both on the inside and out
Boudoir sessions are tasteful photos that hint at sexiness, lean towards implied nudity (not actual nudity most of the time), and leaving it all up to the imagination. All woman have their own idea of what sexy is as well as what they are comfortable with so the main goal is to guarantee that your comfort level is always intact while you get the chance to be cute, fun, sexy, flirty and even a bit sensual. You can be as modest or as bold as you want, but I will never ask you to pose beyond your comfortable level that was discussed ahead of time. The photo session will start off with a few simple poses to build your confidence. You’ll soon relax and enjoy yourself. You’ll be amazed how confident you will start to feel as you discover how easy getting your picture taken can be!
Privacy is a concern and a high priority of mine due to the intimate nature of boudoir sessions. All images from our session are kept in strict confidence and no images will be shown without permission from the client in writing. If permission is granted, images will still only EVER be used in a private and separate portfolio that clients can request to see if booking their own boudoir photography session
If you are interesting in booking one of these photo sessions, please contact me via email (tabbiann82@gmail.com), cell phone (717) 414-9939 or personal message on Facebook through TabbiAnn Photography. Valentine's Day is just around the corner, but when you get to take a little time away for yourself and remember how gorgeous and sensual you are, hey!, anytime is a good time for that :-)

Goals for 2013
Saw this done on another photographer's blog and I thought it was a neat idea (plus I set personal and other goals for myself each year, why not for my business as well?!?!)
1. Photograph one wedding
I had so much fun being able to photograph my Mom's wedding and I would simply love the opportunity to help a couple capture their memories for their own special day.
3. Reach 100 likes on Facebook
Facebook is such a wonderful tool to advertise with when you are trying to the "word out" that you would like to do something more with whatever your passion may be. In the short period time span of 6 months, I have acquired 86 likes!!!
4. Book and shoot 25 sessions (any kind)
This is 10 more shoots than I did last year, I am sure some of you will definitely be able to help me out with this goal ;-) pretty please!
5. Begin building a new area of my portfolio by offering a new session option: Classic Boudoir
I am actually going to begin this goal very very soon (keep your eyes peeled on my facebook page) for the perfect way to keep busy during these cold winter months when shooting outside photos isn't as big an option as usual. I had boudoir pictures taken myself by AKegerreis Photography (my sister-in-law) a few years ago to help build her portfolio and totally feel in love by how classy and romantic these images were to share with my husband.

2. Read (actually FINISH too!) at least 5 business books to help improve my skills
I read for pleasure ALL the time (I even started a book club), and I read for new ideas and research to better myself as a teacher, so I want to make sure that some of the books that I am picking up this year will help me better myself as a photographer and business person. I am proud to say that I joined Photography Awesomesauce Book Club on Facebook to help me accomplish this goal. I am waiting for Love is a Killer App: How to win Business and Influence Friends AND Adobe Photoshop 7.0 for Photographers to arrive from Amazon, plus I need to finally finish reading Canon EOS Rebel T2i/550D: From Snapshots to Great Shots (hmmmm maybe I should up my goal if I already listed three.....hehe)
